Mr. Tan retired as Group CEO of a Singapore Stock Exchange listed conglomerate.

 

Mr. Tan has an MBA from Cranfield School of Management and a Bachelor of Accountancy (Hons) degree from National University of Singapore. He was a Fellow of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants & an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants & Institute of Chartered Secretaries & Administrators, after successfully completing all their examinations. Mr. Tan also sat and passed the examinations of the Association of International Bond Dealers.

Mr. Tan has held various C-level positions such as CEO, COO, CFO, Business Development Director & Group Logistics Director and worked in various industries ranging from financial services, oil & gas, agri-business, real estate & manufacturing. His experience has seen him based in Singapore, Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur, Beijing, Shanghai and Hong Kong and in the course of his career, has travelled extensively in Asia, UK, USA.

Mr. Tan has considerable experience in finance, accounting, compliance, corporate governance, corporate strategy, joint-venture relationships, information systems, human resource, legal, corporate secretarial, tax, M&A, advisory, operations and supply chain.

Mr. Tan’s board experience includes being a director of companies listed on the Singapore Stock Exchange, Bursa Securities Malaysia and New York Stock Exchange and several unlisted entities.
